Aluminium Federation (ALFED)

ALFED is a trade association that represents that represents the interests of the whole UK aluminium industry, from primary production and secondary refining through to fabrication, finishing, distribution, and recycling.

British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA)

BCSA is a UK-wide trade organisation that works on behalf of the steel construction industry. The association represents organisations involved in the design, fabrication and erection of steelwork for all forms of construction in building and civil engineering.

British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA)

BMRA is a trade group that represents the UK's metal recycling sector.

British Stainless Steel Association (BSSA)

BSSA is an industry group that works to promote and develop the manufacture and use of stainless steel across the UK.

Cast Metals Federation (CMF)

CMF is a trade organisation that represents foundries producing castings in every metal and process, along with foundry supply companies.

Cobalt Development Institute (CDI)

CDI is a non-profit trade association composed of producers, users, recyclers, and traders of cobalt.

Confederation of British Metalforming (CBM)

CBM is a trade group that works on behalf of UK manufacturers of fasteners, forgings and pressings.

European Copper Institute (ECI)

ECI is a trade group that represents the copper industry in Europe. Along with nine national copper trade associations in Europe, ECI also works with the New York based International Copper Association Ltd. ECI is also part of the Copper Alliance, an international network of industry associations.

European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA)

EPMA is an umbrella group representing a range of actors with a stake in powder metallurgy, from component, metal powder, and equipment producers to end-users, research centres, universities, and individuals who have an interest in PM.

Institute of Cast Metals Engineers (ICME)

ICME is a trade group that represents the castings industry and those associated with it, including foundrymen, design engineers, metallurgists, moulders, patternmakers, CAD technicians, methods engineers, researchers, students and suppliers to the industry.

International Lead Association (ILA)

ILA is an industry group with bases in London, Washington, DC, and North Carolina. It represents lead producers and other companies that have a direct interest in lead and its use.

Metalforming Machinery Makers Association (MMMA)

MMMA is a trade body that works on behalf of the UK's sheet metal forming industry.

Minor Metals Trade Association (MMTA)

MMTA is a London-based not-for-profit organisation, with international membership, comprising companies actively involved in all aspects of the international minor metals sector.

National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC)

NAMTEC is part of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre and aims to help metals and related engineering companies improve their competitiveness and sustainability.

Nickel Institute (NI)

NI is a trade group that represents nickel producers worldwide.

Science, Engineering, Manufacturing and Technologies Alliance (SEMTA)

SEMTA is a not-for-profit group that focuses on developing engineering skills for the future of the UK's most advanced sectors. As such, they take an interest in metals.

Steel Construction Institute (SCI)

SCI is an body that provides technical expertise to a range of actors, from manufacturers, consulting and design engineers, architects, product managers, commercial directors and industry groups.

Titanium Information Group (TIG)

TIG is a UK-based association of titanium suppliers, fabricators, users and researchers, that works to promote the use of titanium.

UK Steel

UK Steel represents producers of steel as well as steel processing companies.

World Gold Council

The World Gold Council is a market development organisation that works on behalf of the global gold industry.
